Columbia Metropolitan Airport is the main commercial airport for Columbia and the Midlands region of South Carolina, United States. The airport is located in West Columbia, five miles southwest of Columbia, in Lexington County.

The airport has three asphalt runways, a passenger terminal with four gates, and a freight terminal. It is currently served by American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue Airways, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines, and Allegiant Air.

In 2019, the airport handled 1,256,083 passengers and 97,487 aircraft movements. Columbia Metropolitan Airport is currently the busiest airport in South Carolina.

The airport is governed by the Lexington County Aviation Authority. The authority also owns and operates the Jim Hamilton – L.B. Owens Airport in Columbia, which is a general aviation airport located just northeast of downtown Columbia.
